YWAM Ternopil was established in 1994, just three years after Ukraine was once again a sovereign country. The first DTS from this base ran in 1995. Ten years later, the current base, building and property was purchased and the first DTS from the new building was offered the same year.

We have steadily been expanding, renovating, and growing our location. Adding ministries and facilities as the need arises. Our DTS has produced missionaries who have traveled all over the globe, locations include India, Montenegro, Russia (pre invasion), Eastern Europe, and beyond. YWAM Ternopil also has a special calling to serve the people of Ukraine and we have sent teams to the west, centre and eastern parts of our great country.

Currently we have 18 full time staff members and various volunteers. All of them seeking God with the great calling to go and make God known!
